Context
Modern cities face various urban issues daily, from potholes and unauthorized graffiti to overflowing trash bins or damaged urban furniture. Fast and automatic detection of these problems is essential for efficient urban management. Traditional inspection methods require time, resources, and constant human intervention.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers the opportunity to analyze images captured by street cameras, drones, or mobile phones to identify urban problems and automatically report them to authorities or citizens.
Challenge
Are you ready to create an AI solution that makes cities smarter?
Participants have the opportunity to develop a solution based on computer vision and machine learning that automatically detects:
What will the AI solution be able to do?
Image analysis and automatic classification of urban issues.
Identification and labeling of affected areas for quick reporting.
Scalability to be adapted and expanded to new cities and issues.
Evaluation Criteria
Teams will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
Accuracy
How well does the AI identify the issues?
Scalability
Can it be implemented in other cities and scenarios?
Usability
How can it be integrated into a real platform?
Impact
This competition brings technology closer to real life!

Contest Agenda:
15 Apr / 17:00 PM
Initial meeting with participants at the BitStone headquarters.
15 Apr - 17 MAy
The solution implementation period will include guidance from the BitStone team throughout the contest and the possibility to work from the company’s headquarters.
17 MAy / 11:00 AM
Final project presentations and winner announcement will take place at the BitStone headquarters.
